CASEC's
APPROACH
We
use a participatory approach in our work. We believe that we much
enable and facilitate for our clients and beneficiaries. Only by
using this method will all the stakeholders be represented, and
all the beneficiaries will gain skills to carry out the project
or initiate new ones. We really focus on enabling the clients to
be able to carry out the assignment on their own or with little
external support Empowered clients go for new ventures, which provides
new challenging assignments for CASEC.
Most
of the capacity-building work is in the areas of trainings, establishment
of strategic plans, formation and establishment of CBOs and NGOs,
savings and credit schemes, housing schemes, and associations.
Methodology:
CASEC facilitates community based planning processes using various
methods: Rural Participatory Appraisals (PRAs), Rapid Project/Rural
Appraisals (RP/RA), DELTA and PUA
Out
of the PRA we facilitate preparations of projects/programme strategic
plans. Most of the plans are done through participatory methods
involving all key stakeholders. We prepare project write-ups and
project concept notes. We also facilitate preparations of Log frames
using various approaches.
